Values formation, built on the character of God

Every ICP course asks the same question in a way that fits the age of the student: what is God like, and what does that mean for how I live? Good is what agrees with the character of God. Evil is what does not. The rest of the curriculum follows from that.

Character Code for Life

A nine-year series of books and teaching materials built on the unchanging principles of morality and ethics found in the Bible. Children study the basic character traits of God, and each age group meets those same values again with more detail and a harder challenge to apply them.

The curriculum runs to six modules. Each module covers six values with three lessons apiece, which gives eighteen lessons per module. Churches, Christian schools and families all use it.

It is available now in English, and has been translated into seven languages for children in more than a dozen countries.

Teens and adults

God's Character and Me

The study does not stop at grade six. God's Character and Me carries the same framework into six modules for teens and adults, each with six units of three lessons: eighteen lessons in all. Small groups in churches, Christian schools and families use it.

Module 1, God Is. "In Him we live and move and have our very existence." So who is God? Why should I be concerned with God? Is God active in the world today? Six units: God's Revelation, Faithfulness, Love, Holiness, Justice and Time, and me.

Module 2, Man as God Made Him. God created man to be the link between Himself and His creation, free to decide whether or not to honor God. A study of God's plan for man, of man's dishonoring of God, and of how God made a way back.

Module 3, The Value of a Godly Family. The nature, purpose and joys of a family that works the way God designed it, in the relationship of husband and wife and in godly parenting. Now being translated into Swahili for the churches of Kenya.

The Shepherd of the Sheep, the 2026 ICP Vacation Bible School study of Psalm 23.

Vacation Bible School

The Shepherd of the Sheep

Each year ICP publishes a five-lesson Bible school study for churches and families to teach. The 2026 study is a deep dive into the twenty-third Psalm. As they memorize it, children learn why David, the shepherd boy who became king, could say "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want."

Materials come for preschool, primary, intermediate and teens. The study will be translated into all of our foreign languages, beginning with the Philippines, where enough will be printed for twelve thousand children.
