International Christian Publishers ("ICP", "we", "us") operates this website. We collect as little as we can, we do not sell anything about you, and we do not send you mail you did not ask for.
Information we collect
Information you send us
If you fill in the contact form, we receive the name, email address, phone number (if you give one), topic and message that you type into it. We use that information only to answer you. We keep the message so that we have a record of the conversation. We do not add you to a mailing list because you used the contact form.
Information collected automatically
Our web server keeps standard access logs, which include the IP address making the request, the page requested and the time. We also record a one-way cryptographic hash of the IP address of anyone who submits the contact form, purely so that we can limit how many times the form can be submitted in an hour and keep spam out. These records are not used to build a profile of you.
How we use information
To reply to you, to keep the contact form from being abused, and to keep the site running. That is all.
Cookies
This site sets a session cookie when you use the contact form. It exists to protect the form against cross-site request forgery, and it is required for the form to work.
We also use analytics cookies to understand traffic in aggregate, such as which pages are visited and how visitors find us. These cookies are set when you use the site, and the notice shown on your first visit tells you so. You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings, and the site will continue to work normally.
Donations
Donations are processed by Zeffy, a third-party donation platform. The donation form on our Donate page is hosted by Zeffy and displayed inside a frame on our page. When you give, the information you enter, including your payment details, goes to Zeffy and not to us. We never see or store your card number. Zeffy tells us who gave and how much, so that we can thank you and account for the gift. Your use of that form is subject to Zeffy's own privacy policy.
Video
Lesson videos on this site are hosted on YouTube. We show a still image and a play button rather than a live YouTube player, which means YouTube is not contacted at all unless you click to play a video. Once you do, YouTube can set cookies and collect data under its own privacy policy. We use YouTube's no-cookie player to reduce that as far as the platform allows.
Fonts
This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make the site work, described above, and only to the extent they need it. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Children
This website is intended for adults: teachers, parents, pastors and supporters. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this site. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time, and we will.
Updates to this policy
If we change how this site handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
